A CASE FOR CAUTION.

All indicators of the change agenda of the President Muhammadu Buhari  led administration points to the investigation, arrest and prosecution of corrupt individuals in the GEJ led administration.  However caution must be the watchword in doing this.  Let it not be a which hunt or a vendetta mission.  Plus We must tread carefully especially In treating the former President harshly and by all means we must avoid disgracing not to talk of sending him  to jail if allegations of impropriety in governance against him  is proved.  reason for caution will be the serious implication it may have on National peace and cohesion,  two :the implications for other African Nations where leaders have tendencies for sit 'sit tightism '. Any attempt to disgrace or jail GEJ send both positive and negative jitters across Africa.  Leaders must be given an assurance of soft landing as an incentive to give up power and avoid needless blood bath. The Burundi elections is set for tomorrow yet we h

Liberal Democracy at its apogee has become a scourge on America.

When Fela sang that Democracy is demonstration of craziness we all did not understand him.Today liberal democracy which I define as "the dictatorship of the majority of voters" has forced out the bible and prayer as a teacher led activity from schools in the USA not minding the voices and choice of millions who prefer it. It has forced legalized Nationwide same sex  marriage on the American people through the back door of the decision of five judges of the supreme court. What an affront to the rights of countless millions who do not want same sex and the clergyman who is not willing to join such in matrimony.? Now the kids right from fourth grade must learn all about gay sex, oral and anal sex plus transgender issues and all such nonsense with no right of refusal for parents. The danger here for Africa is our Education  investors  always want to copy anything American in total. The nonsensical thinking that says if iits American then it right . Whoever said that the USA is

How bad is poverty in Africa? The situation is improving, but Africa remains the poorest continent on Earth. But what many people may not know are the effects of poverty in Africa—including hunger, disease and a lack of basic necessities.   Poverty in Africa Facts   Seventy-five percent of the world’s poorest countries are located in Africa, including Zimbabwe, Liberia and Ethiopia. For the past two years, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa’s second largest country, has also been ranked the poorest in the world with a Gross Domestic Product (based on purchasing-power-parity) of $394.25 in 2013.According to Gallup World, in 2013, the 10 countries with the highest proportion of residents living in extreme poverty were all in sub-Saharan Africa. Extreme poverty is defined as living on $1.25 or less a day. In 2010, 414 million people were living in extreme poverty across sub-Saharan Africa. According to the World Bank, those living on $1.25-a-day accounted for 48.5 percent of th

The future of the classroom is without the teacher. That's reality!

The traditional classroom as we know it today is not likely to survive the next two decades. The educational system of the world is irreversibly going totally virtual. The book as we read today in hard copies is going to be almost  completely soft or digital. The Classroom of 2036 is completely online and without a physical instructor! The wise teacher who will survive and thrive will only be those who have developed personal content relevant and at the cutting edge of knowledge in his or her  field of competence. This he or she must deploy with proper copyright for profit in cyberspace

Let's rethink how we educate our youths.

Yes education is a number one tool for development. Proper education will even fast track development faster than a  democracy without good governance.                                       However we got it really wrong in Africa when we all left our traditional educational systems which was very practical and hands on. The fathers sang ise agbe ni se ile wa,, Eni ko sise ama jale. Iwe kiko laisi oko ati ada ko ipe o, ko ipe o. That song stressed the importance of acquiring profitable skills along side our paper certificates. We must rethink and rejig our educational system if millions of our graduate youths will not remain jobless and turn to crimes.
